Summary: In this lab, you will use geographic information systems (GIS) to investigate the spatial pattern of land use, development and deforestation in Rondnia, Brazil. Your goal is to employ geospatial data and tools to assess the pattern and reasons for development in one of the most widely-known parts of the rainforest, the state of Rondnia, Brazil.
