LIFE IN A MILITARY MEDICAL CAREER BY DR. AARON SAGUIL

Dr. Saguil is a Family Physician, a Colonel in the U.S. Army, Associate Professor of Family Medicine, and the Associate Dean for Admissions at the Uniformed Health Services School of Medicine, a medical school that regularly accepts KU students. And, he’s a very warm and engaging speaker, who usually visits every year, and can present from all these perspectives, and more.

This session will be helpful for those considering not just military medicine but medicine in general. With this talk, he likes to use his military career as an opportunity to share lessons learned, tips for the medical school application process, and a realistic look at the positives and negatives of practicing medicine in the military.
